Event Date: Saturday 17th January 2026

The Punk Panther season curtain raiser.
With a number of distances from half-marathon to ultra, this trail race (formerly the North Leeds Greenway) follows the route of Walkers are Welcome (Otley) Green Gateways book. If you would like a copy of the guide book please email us admin@punkpanther.co.uk. The walk sets itself apart thanks to its city-centre setting. Green Gateways Greenway is a little-known trail that unites the parks and public green spaces around Leeds. Despite taking runners close to the heart of this Northern Powerhouse, the race remains substantially off-road – much of the return route is along the Meanwood Valley Trail – making it easy to forget one is so close to this bustling city.

Event Date: Saturday 16th May 2026 - Entries Open

Setting off from the beautiful market Town of Skipton meaning “Sheep Town” in an old Northern dialect which is recorded in the doomsday book, this new route takes in parts of the Dales High Way, River Aire Ultra and  Pennine Way. For both the Ultra distances the beautiful Malham Tarn and spectacular Gordale Scar are visited with breath-taking views of the best of the Dales and are not to be missed. The 50 mile distance heads off after Gordale Scar and then joins the Pennine Way all the way to the peak of Pen-y–ghent ascending Fountains Fell along the way. Down into Horton-in-Ribblesdale you follow the Ribble Way back out onto the fells eventually returning to Malham Tarn and following the route of the River Aire back to Skipton.
